Project Name: EU One Stop Shop Supporting Green Line Trade & Businesses

Objective:  The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is Confidence building and island-wide economic convergence in Cyprus.

The specific objective (Outcome) of this contract is to strengthen access to trade across the Green Line 

Duration: 24 months

Key expert 1: Team Leader  (440 wd/24 months)

Qualifications and skills

• Master’s Degree or equivalent diploma in law, economics, international relations, European studies, political science or social sciences or, in the absence of these, 4 years of general professional experience beyond the required 6 years of general professional experience (10 years altogether of general professional experience);
• Proven knowledge of and professional experience in the political, social and economic context of Cyprus with special regards to the Cyprus problem;
• Demonstrated good communication skills, diplomatic skills and IT skills;
• Demonstrated excellent command of written and spoken English and Greek; and
• Knowledge of the GLR would be considered an advantage

General professional experience 

• At least 6 years of professional experience 

Specific professional experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience working in Cyprus;
• At least 4 years of professional experience working on trade/free movement of goods/economic development;
• Professional experience working in direct contact with authorities in an EU MS;
• Team leader/manager in at least one previous assignment;
• Professional experience from negotiations and/or representation;
• Professional experience working with private sector would be an advantage;
• Professional experience working with EU standards would be an advantage; and
• Experience working on EU funded projects would be an advantage

Key expert 2: Green Line Trade Expert (440 working days/24 months) 

Qualifications and skills 

• Master’s degree or equivalent diploma in a relevant field such as Economics, International Relations, European studies, Political Science or Social Sciences or, in its absence, 4 years
• of general professional experience beyond the required 6 years of general professional
• experience (10 years altogether of general professional experience);
• Proven knowledge of business promotion and development, and/or trade regimes;
• Proven knowledge of and professional experience in the political, social and economic context of Cyprus with special regards to the Cyprus problem;
• Demonstrated good communication skills, inter-personal skills and IT skills;
• Demonstrated excellent command of written and spoken English and Turkish; and
• Knowledge and understanding of the GLR would be considered an advantage

General professional experience

• At least 6 years of professional experience.

Specific professional experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience working in Cyprus;
• At least 4 years of professional experience working on trade/free movement of goods/economic development;
• Professional experience from negotiations and/or representation;
• Professional experience working with private sector would be an advantage;
