We’ll work with#SAHPRA — South Africa’s medicines and vaccines regulator — on its organizational transformation.

The ambition is a high one: WHO Maturity Level 4, and eventually recognition as a WHO Listed Authority. Very few regulators on the continent are close to that bar. What gets an institution there usually isn’t a new regulation or a new tool — it’s how the organization itself is built: structure, leadership, decision-making, and whether staff are actually brought along as things change.

Organizational development is understanding how an institution actually functions, then redesigning it so ambition and capacity finally match.
Glad to bring that to SAHPRA, on work that matters far beyond one authority — how confidently Africa can regulate, and eventually manufacture, its own medicines and vaccines.
