Objective:
The project supports the Government of Lithuania in accelerating the permitting process for renewable energy projects, thereby facilitating investment and contributing to the country’s green transition goals. Through a combination of regulatory review, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building, the project aims to streamline administrative procedures, reduce bottlenecks, and improve coordination between permitting authorities.

BK Plus Europe contributed to assessing the institutional and regulatory framework, developing recommendations for simplification, and enhancing risk management and transparency mechanisms in permitting processes. The assignment also promoted public participation and dialogue to ensure a more inclusive and efficient framework for the approval and implementation of renewable energy investments.
